STUDENT COUNCIL Many services are rendered the student body by the Student Council. Social ac- tivities, ticket-selling campaigns, elections, are discussed at semi-monthly meetings, and, if approved by the administration, they are presented for the support of the student body. Freshmen and sophomore members do not, usually, initiate activities, but take full part in representing their classes. '7!1e4f4aweu4z'aa Busy about many things that make up a good luncheon, these faithful cooks begin work at seven in the morning. ln the picture above, left to right, are: Mrs. Hattie Wenzel, Mrs. Mary Leutermann, Mrs. Dora Miller lin charge of the cafeterial, Mrs. Owyndia Pedersen, and Mrs. Sally Fennell. .lmgf 1. DOCTOR AND NURSE Dr. Max E. Wiese and Mrs. Catherine Sullivan pay their weekly visit to Messmer and check our health. They make our clinic the scene of much help for students who have been ill and good health advice for anyone who wants it. MAINTENANCE MEN Not many free moments come into the daily program of our maintenance men. Rooms, corridors, offices, and washrooms get their cleaning every day. Here Mr. Edward Colloton, Mr. Raymond Becker, and Mr. James Vogel remove the pews from the chapel. Their joint efforts make this one ot the cleanest schools in the city.
