' Za ham 6-Baia, .Sa ge YZ Faith has been ridiculed and discounted by those who live chiefly in that realm of life made accessible through their senses. But those who are not content to live in the sphere of the material continue to experience miracles being wrought by faith. Progress stops, life stagnates and pessimism reigns where faith is thwarted. Faith has but little value in itself. Its effectiveness is determined by the object upon which it centers. Faith in God, faith in Christ, faith in the Bible, faith in the Church, faith in ourselves, and faith in Society will yield results commensurate with the value of the object in which our confidence centers. Faith is the channel that con- nects. lt unites the point of need and the base of supply. At Messiah Bible College we naturally and freely maintain a positive faith in Cod, our Creator and Father, and in Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Lord. This faith actual and living, lifts out of the thralldom of sin and unites life with God in liberty and freedom. We recognize the Bible as the infallible Word of God, the ultimate authority of truth and right. We therefore know whence we came, whither we are going and how to hnd the way. At M. B. C. we recognize the church of Jesus Christ as God's medium of ministra- tion in the world. This church, persecuted, rnaligned, and ridiculed, continues her life- saving mission and the HGates of hell shall not prevail against her. The Brethren in Christ are a small part of that great body with a message and mission sorely needed in this twentieth century. Not only do we believe these eternal verities, but at lVl. B. C. we have faith in young people. This is a dilhcult day for youth. They have reasons for being perplexed and distraught. They face a dilhcnlt present and an uncertain future. We are sympa- thetic and believe in them because of what they want to become. Among present day Christian young people you will find as sincere and conscientious Christians as ever lived. We believe in them. lVl. B. C. is yet young in her ministry of service. We have faith for her future because she is linked with Cod. Her graduates shall continue to go out and bless mankind. They must go out and Hfall into the ground and dief' Thus they shall fol- low Him who came '6Not to be ministered unto but to minister and give his life a ransom for many. M. B. C. will meet the needs of tomorrow-stronger, better. We do not desire a mushroom growth, but a continuation of the stable progress as evidenced through the years of her history.
