N-1? ii Thomas Swanson, a 6 ' 4 senior, led our Skeeters to a great basketball season. Thomas 5,2-V if 'lv led the team in scoring, averaging 14 points per game. Besides leading in scores he also led in rebounding and field goal percentage. Thomas was on varsity for two years and was captain his senior year. As Thomas left M.H.S. his last words to the ..l.V. and Freshman players were, Stick with it and don't give upl Just as he never gave up. He's improved greatly since last year. His at- titude provides good leadership for our team, he's really an all-around playerl Coach Hall said. This improvement helped Tom make the All-Star Tournament in Duncanville this past year. Also, Thomas has received letters from many colleges, but hasn't made up his mind to where he would like to continue his future. SeHlOl'S 29 1
