FOREWORD School spirit is the uniting force at Mesquite High School. lt is this spirit that makes the Skeeters want to do their very best in everything they undertake, whether it is participation in sports and clubs, or studying in their classrooms. This spirit is not only the 'crab rah rahs we yell to cheer the team on to victory, or the enthusiasm we show when our class wins the big sweetheart contest. It is also the working with our classmates to pro- duce a harmonious student body. lt is the co-operation with our teach- ers. lt is the desire to better ourselves and our school. lt is the in- spiration that will guide us to build a better World. The staff, in preparing the l958 Mesquite-O, has tried to capture this spirit so that you may remember and rekindle it in future years. THE STAFF
