unzbr Jflsfory September 1953, we began our freshman year in room 25, with twenty-sev- en members and Mr. Bau as our advisor. We elected the following officers: President, Don Newhartg Vice President, Lloyd Ace, Secretary, Chris Bellg Treasurer. Bob Lott, Rep., Carol Bray and Johnny Benningerp Historian, Mar- lene White. We ended the year with twenty-four, losing Richard Thomas, Paul Faux, and Earlene Whipple. It was an un- eventful year. We had one class party. We started our sopho- more year in the Ag. room with Miss Kelly as our advisor. They soon put us in room 26 with Mr. Miller. That year our officers were: President, Don Newhartg Vice President, Howard Warner, Secretary, Carolyn Adamyg Treasurer, Lauretta Shaferg Historian, Carol BraygRep. , Marlene White and Johnny Ben- ninger. During the year we lost Carolyn Adamy and Guy Manning and we welcomed Olivia Panunti and Donna Stone. We had several parties that year. Our junior year we were again in room 26 but with Mrs. Carter as our advisor. We didn't see Donna Stone and Frank Williams, and Marlin Hopfer soon left, but we were glad that Guy Manning was back. The officers for that year were: President, Guy Stevensg Vice President, Chris Bellg Secretary, Harold Carter. Treasurer, Lauretta Shafer, Historian, Carol Bray: Rep. , Marlene White and Ronnie Hampsey. This was a very eventful year. We had a very successful junior play, and of course, this year we sponsored the Junior-Senior Banquet and we were in- cluded in the annual Prom. Also we had many successful money making projects.
