Students Express Individuality' How does one explain just what's fashionable and what's not? Fash- ion can be what everyone else is wearing, what's said to be fashion in current magazines, or just what a student thinks looks best on him. To a Stoney, fashion might be boots, a cowboy hat, a name belt, or a pair of western levis. To one person it could be baggies, the lay- ered look, a shrink top, or even a different type of neckwear. To an- other, a favorite old pair of levis, or even the length ofa hemline. Page I6 Fall-Student Life Everyone wears shoes, and in this way many students found them- selves in with the latest styles. Gone are the regular old flats, and in with the new platform shoes, or just old shoes changed around to look dif- ferent. Fashion was what the students liked best, either for themselves, or what they liked on others. Keeping with the styles, many students ex- pressed themselves kiddingly and realistically. Basically, fashion was the individual. ' ' o 'ff-47 ig - , ig, I I M, ,wl A .i ' , 4. , ., ' .f -3. I ' A fi . 't if f f Y 1 WQN gl- . aff 'f '- 'Q 'x. Lsxh fgs. ifizg +---
