Harvey L. Taylor receives congratulations from Dr, Horace Kent during ceremonies at the Mesa-Westwood football game. Taylor Field, more commonly known as Jackrabbit Stadium, has for many years served the community of Mesa The field was first dedicated in l9-49, although it was not fully completed. Dedication of the new Mesa High School athletic field, although far from completed will be held tomorrow evening, Thursday, Nov. lO, preceeding the Mesa-Phoenix Union football game. Now more than l5 years later Harvey L. Taylor was greatly honored during half-time activities at the Mesa-Westwood game, when Taylor Field was offi- cially declared Taylor Field. A bronze plaque honor- ing Harvey L. Taylor, former Mesan, for his years of service to the Mesa School system has been placed on the west side of Jackrabbit Stadium. IO
