Through present doorways we pass into the city of life, through future doorways we pass into eternal ioy and pain. What will present doorways hold for us: winning athletic teams, a chance to broaden our edu- cation, an insight into school life, an opportuntiy to participate in school activities? We will be facing and conquering the many new and exciting doorways of the future. These doorways are awaiting the grasp of students with inquisitive minds and adventurous souls, to open and reveal the new fields of knowledge. This knowledge is vast and infinite, only yielding to the touch of ambition and initiative. ln youth we are seek- ing doorways through which we may find answers to manifest our eventful questions. ln manhood we find that our endeavors have fallen short of our expectancy, some being put aside, some forgotton, and the un- known a link we have yet to achieve. Determination may well be our future, be resourceful and responsive so that we may possess the knowledge and prepared- ness to go through life. Open the doorways with respect, evaluate all that exists, and add our contributions willingly so those who follow us may gain by our efforts and achievements.
