Um acwtfzg l saw a dramatic presentation of the Hatfield-McCoy feud on television last night. It reminded me of our class around election time last November. Greg stood chatting with Keith Nlarton in the cafeteria line. Keith smiled. It did get rather loud at times didn't it? The teacher knew when to stop it, though. I really did profit from those discussions. So did l. That's something I really like about Mesa I-ligh. You learn by discussing with your friends the var- ious sides ofthe issues. The social studies department was especially helpful to me in this way. With a teacher's guidance and help, there was so much to be learned. Yes. After taking American problems, I can see why they are so concerned about the students they turn loose on the world, said Keith. Greg laughed. With good old Mesa High learning behind us, how can we miss? The way to learn to drive is to get behind the wheel of a real car. Both Mr. Branch and Mr. Spain agree on that.
