Will you be on it next year, too? inquired Connie. l certainly will, if they let me. You have done such a good job as president, Connie. l'll bet this has been the best year for Mesa High girls that there has ever been. Connie smiled. Planning and carrying out our activities so well has made the effort worth while. Remember our first big proiect? lt Nas the All Girls' party. You bet. lt isn't every year we can combine the All Girls' party with an All Girls' football pep rally. Twirp Week was my favorite time. All those boys I had to choose from. What decisions I had to make! The Mothers' and Daughters' Tea was our last big project for the year. I'm glad the girls seemed to enioy it. Don't forget the Coed, said Shari. I could have danced ail night to that dreamy music! I would say, Connie, that this year, the Girls' League has certainly done its best to help the girls adapt them- selves well in both educational and social activities. lamft gow: L l'l?lenCgeWl5f lglff-,pagklnsonb 590050: MVS- MGVY Mast, Sponsor, DeAnn Young, Second Row: Anna arte' ox, aralne ouse, yvia oren, iane .Io nson, Di ne P k' . DON WARDEN .Z President CORWIN EDWARD S Secretary TOM TAYLOR Vice-President STEVE MILLER Treasurer M9442 77Zwm9e4 a Keep Eawy. 744 Don Warden leaned back in his chair. Do you mean to tell me, Mike, that you have already planned the Christmas Formal for December of l962'? Sure, Don. As the president of Boys' League year after next, l'll be in charge of it. I thought l'd better be prepared. That's why l'm asking you about your duties. Aside from the fact that you will have to get yourself elected, you seem to have it all planned, laughed Don. The purpose of the Boys' League is to develop the social abilities of the boys of Mesa High, as well as offer op- portunities for training in leadership. You have carried out the purpose this year. Just look at how much l have learned, Mike grinned. But, l imagine there are a few details about the dance that still need a little work. Yes, and while you are thinking about it, you might plan the Father and Son activity that is held each year. Then there are the concessions at the football games that you can worry about. Besides that, there are numerous other duties that will keep you busy. Oh, I don't really need to worry, Mike mused. You see, I plan to have eight or nine secretaries to help me.
