Resident Life □ear Home, What’s new with you folks? I ' ll tell you, I’ve become a fountain of knowledge living at school . . . I’ve learned not to study with the television or stereo on. For that matter, I’ve learned not to study in my room without ear plugs, and also, never to enter the library, between October and April, without wearing thermal underwear. Speaking of which, I never realized before that I shouldn’t wash my red sweatshirt and new jeans with my white clothes. I had to, though, I ran out of quarters and no one had change. Mom, I now appreciate homecooking. I ' ll give Saga credit for their ingenious concoctions, using chicken, fish, or eggs, but sometimes . . . salade, or peanut butter and jelly is the best bet. Concerning athletics, if you visit during football, frisbee, la- crosse, or baseball season, don’t walk in front of the resident halls without a helmet. Don’t worry, there are R. A. ' s and new C. A. ' s to keep paren- tal eyes on us all. If we are locked out, one of them will let us in. If we are naughty”, they will punish us with points. Too many points, and I will be back home. Last, but not least, I’ve learned the lonely feeling associated with an empty mailbox. Could you please send money. Tapping the keg of knowledge, Your Child
