Colorful moments brighten holiday season You know the feeling. You are sitting with your friends in the cafeteria, eating your lunch just like any other day. When you look out the cafe- teria windows, you see the neighborhood streets and houses. The atmosphere is al- ways the same. But this year, things have changed. When you look through the windows, you don ' t see the outside. Instead, Santa Claus, carolers, and a holiday message greet the eye. All this was made pos- sible by our capable Art De- partment and their water color skills. These colorful scenes made the Turnabout Dance a Win- ter Wonderland. After the dance, the designs remained to give bright and cheery mo- ments to the usually plain cafeteria. Other moments of Christ- mas sprang up in the commu- nity as well as the school dur- ing the holiday season. Child Development classes held their annual Christmas party, and a bank on Broadway decorated their tree and played Christmas carols. 14
