4 1 SEASONS GREETINGS ARE GIVEN FROM BAND. CHOIR Choir and band combine for the 1971 version of “Seasons Greetings” ... the choir under the direction of Mr. Jerauld Reinhart . . . the band directed by Mr. Frank Meltzer . . . the endless hours putting up scenery the night before . . . dress rehearsal results in the usual tension ... the program begins with a Christmas medley ... the band performs “Old St. Nick Takes a Rockin’ Trip . . . the vocal teens enter- tain with “White Christmas” and the “Twelve Days After Christmas” . . . sophomore and senior girls glee clubs unite as one choir . . . the cast of Mary, Joseph, the kings, the shepards, and Santa ... Mr. Demaree once again takes the job as narrator . . . the bands accompanies the choirs as the concert ends with the ever popular Hallelujah Chorus . . . The newly formed girls group, the “Chantettes” perform during the Christmas concert. Pleased with the outcome of the concert, Mr. Reinhart now has the job of collecting robes. The senior girl choir and the sophomore choir join together to form one choir. 28 Activities

LUNCH TIME SERVES AS A SOCIAL HOUR Counting the final minutes in second hour . . . un- winding from the morning classes . . . from 10:25 to 11:15 or 11:25 to 12:15 ... spending lunch hours in the new cafeteria . . . listening to the jukebox . . . playing volleyball, dodge ball or basketball in the gym . . . catching up on undone homework . . . spring comes and everyone moves outside on the lawn in front of the school . . . going to the pool for a quick swim . . . third and fourth hours go faster than any hour of the long school day . . . Whether sitting on a bench or sitting on the floor, sophomore Naomi Miklos and senior David Alsop spend a leisurely lunch hour having fun just relaxing. Counting the pins for the spirit week teepee are two of the active members of the National Honor Society, seniors Linda Libician and Nancy Zona. Mrs. Frasca gives change to sophomore Kevin Magurean in the ala cart line.
