PARADE MARKS BEGINNING OF H-C dates Walt Prochno, Kathie Genda, Rich Mann, Jackie Dolak, Brian Konarski, Sue Baker, Lynda Kloth get together during the H-C bonfire. The football team stops before the parade to say “we’re number one”. Over a week of hard work on the float . . . working until 12:00 the night before . . . last minute pre- parations . . . seniors without a car to pull their float ... 5:00 the parade starts, beginning the homecoming festivities ... the thrill of your car or float winning first . . . the fun of riding in the parade . . . sophomores win first place with “Help Prevent a Red Devil Victory” . . . seniors place sec- ond with “Pirates are the Big Macs, Devils are the Small Fries” . . . juniors come in third with “Fire Theirs Hire Ours” ... the parade ends . . . home- coming festivities continue . . . “Pirates Are The Big Mac’s, Devils Are The Small Fries” is the senior’s second place float.
