The stu- dents learned and practiced some of the more com- plex forms of timber management, soil conservation. and wild life management. This enabled the students to understand the management problems of our natural resources and by so doing made them appreciate the importance of resources used by the people. pa.. 1.1 This year many stu dents participated in Activity Art. Their duties con- sisted of making posters for many different school or- ganizations and ac- tivities. Those students in- terested in making art their career have found this ac- tivity very helpful. A -v. I Y- Q .W ., Tutoring was a worthwhile activity for those students who wished to better themselves ln the field of Science and Mathematics. An activity such as this IS invaluable to the future of young scientists and mathematicians. Five groups of boys made up the Service Club. Some of their duties con- sisted of ushering and setting up assembly programs. Also in this group were the hall monitors who kept the halls quiet and ran errands for the office. The service club proved helpful to the whole school. Girls who have decided to further their education in the commercial field took this activity. They learned how to operate many ma- chines with speed, accur- acy, and efficiency. The girls who took this course certainly have very valu- able information and knowledge in the field of business machines. . if , , . These included the make- up jobs for the Senior Class Play . , . the One- Act Play . . . the Oper- etta . . . plus many more projects. This activity proved to be a very inter- esting one. Boys' Intramurals were planned for hoys who wanted more com- petition, hut not in a scholastic sense. These hoys were given the ehanee to compete among them- selves. They worked hard to keep their sports fair and up to par.
