ARLENE BARRETT On September 14, 1934, there Was a wild chase around the Barrett home, Why? They were getting ready for the arrival of a new member in the family. This was Arlene. Arlene was born on a farm about six miles west and south of Merna. Ever since she was big enough to eat Arlene has liked to eat ice cream and listen to the song Silver Bells. She leads a very active life. If you don't find her drawing or typing, she will be playing volleyball. Arlene feels pretty good aboutgraduating, but I don't know why, for she said her ambition was to go to college, Arlene has light brown hair, blue eyes, and her height is about five feet, two inches, Her favorite movie stars are Esther Williams and Bing Crosby, Her favorite color is green, Her niost common expression is WHO, ME and her most embarrassing moment is when she saw a picture taken of her, while dressing, Her pet peeve is people swiping her pencils, She has many happy memories and her happiest ones are her high school days, JOHN BREWER It was a cold December day, when the Brewer family's youngest son arrived, He had dark hair and blue eyes, It was on December 2.2, 1934, and the place was Denver, Colorado, He was named after his grandfather, David Brewer, He has attended schools at Arnold, and Merna, He started and completed his high school at Merna, His happiest time in high school was when he didn't get a detention for a month, In his leisure time you will find him sleepingg while getting out of work is his hobby, He says his favorite food is cherry pie and his song is South , His best liked subjects in school were journalism and algebra, His favorite movie actors and actresses are john Wayne and Doris Day, When asked his ambition he said, I have none, as Uncle Sam wants me, His favorite sport is basketballg his holiday is Christmas, He claims his pet peeve is women drivers and he says he feels happy about graduating, VIRGINIA ELAINE SEEVERS Virginia Elaine Seevers was born january 12, 1934, on a farm near Merna, Nebraska during a very bad blizzard, Elaine attended school in California, Sunshine and Merna, Her favorite sports are volleyball and basketball, When asked her most embarrassing moment she referred to a time when she was peeking through the key- hole of a business office and the manager stepped out, She likes to spend leisure time reading, playing the piano, and going to movies, Her favorite food is fried chicken and her favorite songs are Too Young and Turn Back The Hands of Time , Her favorite holiday is Christmas and her pet peeve is being told she should eat more, Elaine said she would dread graduation, but she would be rather relieved to be out of School, She will miss typing and English which are her favorite subjectsg but she will have more time to collect match covers, which is her hobby, Elaine believes she re- ceived her name from the famous Tennyson story, Lancelot and Elaine, There are several high school boys who could be substituted for Lancelot, This may be the reason Elaine has always enjoyed school, She said, I believe my Senior year has the happiest memories of all,
