Queen oi 1951-'52 On December 14, 1951, Ruth Stevens was crowned Color Day Queen of Merna High School, The queen was chosen from the Senior girls by voting bf the student body, Her attendants, one from each class, were also elected by the student body, Every member of the high school appeared in the school colors, Two prizes were given for the best dressed students, Donna Davy, Bernard Manning, and Dale Williams won these prizes, Arlene Barrett, Senior attendant, was escorted by jim Souders, Viola Anderson, junior attendant, was escorted by David Weatherly, Shirley Hirsch, Sophomore attendant, was escorted by Franklyn Manning, Patsy Barrett, Freshman attendant, was escorted by Roger Kennedy, Escorts were chosen by the girls, john Brewer was the king and crowned the queen at the half of the first team game, Ivan Geiser, President of the M Club presented Ruth Stevens with a corsage of red roses on behalf of the club, Color Day Attendants S Winners Throne
