Senior Class SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Left to right — Donna Nelson. Dennis Chesnut, Terry Purdy. Sandra Davenport, Charlene Dunten. As -freshmen there were 143 of us. We were a little afraid of the upper classmen but that was natural. Bill Bienapfl was elected president for the year. We overcame this fright a little in our soph- omore year with the students from Eagle to help us. Royce Garner was elected to guide us through the year. In our junior year we were led by president Gary Bertsch. We chose Some Enchanted Eve- ning as the theme for the Junior-Senior Prom. Linda Crawford and Delbert Bain were crowned Cot- ton Swing Queen and King. At last we are Seniors! Our last year has been exciting and rewarding. Ann Fretwell was crowned tHomecoming Queen at the half time of the Payette game. We chose Winter Wonderland as the theme for the Christmas formal which was held at the Basque Center. Mary Sanchotena was queen of the F.F.A. Harvest Ball in November. Dick Teutsch and Genie Uthe vere crowned king and queen of the Cotton Swing . During the year we sponsored Twirp Week, with Gayla Fugal and Loren Ross as queen and king, and the Senior Assembly. As our motto we chose Not the top, but still climbing. Our colors are blue and silver. We the Seniors of 1962, will always look back on our years at M.hl.S. with fond memories. VALEDICTORIAN Merle Gibbens SALUTATORIAN Sally Mosman
