S. G. A. COUNCIL The Student General Association Council is the body elected by the students to voice student opinions in the school government. The Council, capobly presided over by William Murphy, was composed of one representative from each morning and afternoon home room and a represent- ative from each of the fifteen recognized school activities. STUDENT SENATE The Student Senate is the main governing body of Meriden High School. Under the spon- sorship ot Mr. Walker, the members of the Senate choose the assemblies for the year. The organization of the Senate is such that the seniors have the most influence and the sophomores the least. However, it is so arranged that no one class can outvote the other two classes. ANNUAL STAFF Both the Literary and Business Staffs of the Annual have pooled their respective talents in attempting to make this year's Annual the best possible representation of the accomplishments of the senior class. The outstanding features of former yearbooks were retained and new ones have been added, thus entailing much extra work.
