Here we are at the Nashville estate of Tommy Hall who has just been discovered to be the long lost nephew of Tom T. Hall. Chuck Jenkins is shaking hands with everyone at the doorway as they walk in. Ed Tubbs, ET for short, is nearby using the phone to call home to check on the water in his bath tubb. Among the celebrities here this evening is Rick Penington. Only his closest friends know that in the Charlie Brown cartoon, Ricky is The Great Pumpkin. Rick's hair is in great shape since going to Walter Hall's boutique, Blondes Have More Fun. Here come Becky James and Brian Six who are to be the night's entertainment. Becky, a world renouned comedianne, appears nightly on Johnny's New Tonight Show, and Brian is the manager of the Ted Nugent Band also recently booked on the same show. Sue Ridings is here—giggling as usual. When she stops, we'll let you know why—maybe Becky's jokes? (No-o-o-o, couldn't be that, they're not that good.) Mark Pool just came in on crutches. (Again!?) He twisted his knee but won't tell how (What a sly devil.) Billy Craddock won't be here tonight because he is in Hot Pursuit of Dan Carmean who is still playing chase and in the process lost all of his beautiful red hair. He needs to go see Diana Haberman at her exclusive beauty shoppe specializing in Fried Hair. Larry Charles a prominent businessman, is giving away samples of his product— Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum He has donated millions to Julie Ehrgott in her research for a cure for cancer using her private stock of mice and gerbles. We all know how much she loves them. Another absent member of the class is Pat Stubblefield, who was spotted with her Gang, nicknamed Bang , on a choo choo train heading south. We may catch up to her if we hurry and catch our jet to the Bahamas to Kurt Kleinlein's Dine and Swim where they serve the finest. Greeting us upon landing is Jody Kindhart in his stunning Marine uniform. The Marines provide us with transportation to Kurt's and along the drive we stop at the beach where we spy Mike Schwalb in another new car bought at a local car dealership owned by Kevin Werries who's motto is Sell a Pig and Get a Car. We also see Toni Wilson working out, since she is a guard for the U. S. Olympic Basketball Team. And there is Sheryl Dickman and Janeen is driving Sheryl's dune buggy around the beach like a crazy woman. Janeen is finally getting even. Tina Dunaway is relaxing in the sun after a hard court battle over being sued for impersonating Lucille Ball. And speaking of cars—there is Jerry Allen who owns Jerry's Place and rents 3-wheelers to use on the beach. Tammy Allen also has a great spot on the beach . . . Tammy's Tator Tots. She took over ownership of Ore Ida. Here comes Darell Benjamin to give Toni some basketball tips. He is a member of the Harlam Universe Trotters. Joining them is Billy Ham for a short workout before returning to the Chicago Bulls. Leslie Wilhite joins the others to admire all the swimsuits—all her own designs. For dinner there is roast duck—shipped in by Tharran Hobson who has made a career of wood- duck hunting. If anyone happens to break a tooth eating, they might go see Lori Bradley a well- known orthodontist on the islands, having enjoyed her own experience so much. We found Dan Browning wandering arouond by himself. He has been engaged since graduation, but she keeps saying, Soon, Dan, soon. — and Carolyn Winner hasn't found Mr. Right yet al- though she is still searching. But Yvette Orr has found hers—and you'd be surprised who it is! Dinner is getting cold, but we are waiting for Amy Martin who is teaching typing compu- ters at the new Junior College, MEREBLUFF, located on Smith Lake. Also late as usual is Angie Hart who just called and said that she is still waiting for Roger to pick her up .... so-----------------------gueswe may as well eat. Those ducks sure look good. Makes it seem just like home. Next reunion we'll have to go back to Meredosia and try the food, at the new restaurant, MR. BUD'S PLACE, located where Mary's Market use to be. HERE STANDS THE CLASS OF 85 IN ALL THEIR GLORY. THEY HAVE SURVIVED FOUR YEARS AT MCHS ALONG WITH THEIR FELLOW-CLASSMATES AND TEACHERS. THOUGH IT MAY SEEM LIKE A LONG TIME RIGHT NOW, IN YEARS TO COME, IT WILL BE LOOKED UPON AS A SHORT SPAN OF TIME WHEN THEY MADE MANY LAST- ING FRIENDSHIPS. EVERYONE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FUTURE AND THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE CLASS. THOUGH THE CLASS PROPHECY IS ALL IN FUN, IT IS TRULY HOPED THAT ALL WILL ACCOMPLISH THEIR FONDEST DREAMS AND AMBITIONS. ---------------------F A R E W E L L ! ! ! 69 CLASS OF 1985 Autographs Junior High R.
