In doing this, they earned a birth in the 3rd annual Class IA Football playoffs. If the losses at the hand of the state cham- pion and runner up are discounted, the Seniors experienced a 32-6-1 varsity record. Few schools in Illinois can better that record. The characteristics that produce a winner on the athletic field are comparable to those characteristics that produce a success in life. WHAT YOU PERCEIVE YOU CAN ACHIEVE. B. Battefeld, D. Bradley, R.
