He is the Superintendent of Schools and the head football coach. He has many fine qualities that tend to make him not only, a great educator, but also a good friend. He has taught us the importance of being honest to ourselves, our parents, our teachers, and to our friends. We appreciate Mr. McCall's efforts in making our high school years the best ever. We Salute You . . . Superintendent You Seniors who graduate in 1975 have been a heart ful joy to me. In my thinking, I shall hold a special place for each of you. Your cooperation and your personal respect are far superior to the labels that are casually placed on you, either as a group or as individuals. Principal MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF 1975 = I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you my best in all your future endeavors. You are living in a time of turmoil and your only hope for survival is i through a desire to understand the forces at work around you. You will never have ’ complete control of your future, but through dedication and diligence you can do much to shape your destiny. The wrong that any of you may do is controlled by your thoughts. Remember ! Your thoughts control your actions. As you think, so will you be. Proper thinking will produce proper actions. Duane McCall . We hope your years at MCHS have helped prepare you for an ever-changing society. , We sincerely hope you have learned to use the problem solving process because much of the actual content will have changed by the time you are ready to apply it. We hope you will have developed a measure of self- reliance through the educational experiences provided here that will stand you in good stead for the future. _ Randall Saladin 4 Lew Cummings, Duane McCall, Wayne Hammitt,’ Leonard Staake, Moe Kunzeman, Doc Beauchamp, Roger Ham, and Ted Dickman SALLY WILHITE Secretaries Board of Educatio VIRGINIA ROATE Mr. Mackey Mrs. Morton Mr. Chaney OUR EDUCATIONAL DEPARTMENT Miss Morrow Mr. Burlend Miss Schulte PE: Joe Mackey, who teaches boys' PE and assists in football basketball. HENDERSON In Aug. 1971, the Seniors experienced their first day of High School. As Freshman we were naive and backward but when we progressed to Sophomores we became more daring than we should have. In Aug. 1973, we were Juniors! As a class, we couldn't be beat. Now in 1975, we the Seniors, who are finding our true selves, look back upon our high school years with fond memories. We could have not made it through four years of high school if not for the guidance and encouragement our sponsors. Miss Schulte and Mr. Henderson gave to us. Thank-you. This is the second year for this great sport and the girls hope that eventual- ly, the fans will fill the gym as they do for boys basketball. The girls' attitudes are tremendous. They consist of enthusiasm, confidence, , but many times, also fright. Mrs. Georgena Morton has done a brilliant job of coaching and encour- aging the girls to win and to do their best. The MCHS Future Homemakers of America, under the direction of Miss Anita Morrow, is an organization to encourage our young people to develop leadership qualities, learn cooperation, and to give service. They have successfully under- taken various projects to help the community-such as the Halloween Party for the younger people. Many of their annual events include the Christmas Party, Sweetheart Ball, Mother-Daughter Banquet, and an all-day trip for the members. We take this opportunity to salute these young people who are willing to give their time to establish growth, understanding, and unity in our community. They are accompanied by a piano, bass, and rhythm guitars and drums. They enjoy singing pop- ular and spiritual songs. They are very much looking forward to contest and matching their last year rating--a first. We want to thank the choir for their great interest in music which is a vital part in growing up. They are very fortunate to have the community's support, and have received many gifts to further their knowledge-- including a transmitter received this year. One of the main events this year was the tour of the National Starch Plant. The science club appreciates these people for taking time to teach and show the many new and interesting things. The success of the Science Fair is a great asset to the school and the projects of the students lead to an individual's prosperity in today's society. Front Row: K. Rausch, B. Smith, J. Petri, M.
