Its members are very proud of the advancement made by the club in its three year existence. Every year the Science Club sponsors a Local Science Fair. From this exhibiton of projects from the high school and junior high students, ten outstanding projects are cho- sen to go to the District Fair held in Jacksonville. If the projects are good enough, they are then eligible to compete in the State Fair. The club boasts a record of three second place citations in the State Fair. Through the help of the CIPS and various other service organizations in the community, the club will bury a time capsule’’ in the spring of the year. In the capsule, information about the surrounding community will be stored. It is hoped that the club will continue to function prosper- ously for many years to come. Dosh finished 5th in the PM SC Conference behind some powerful teams. Lack of experience proved to be Dosh's biggest difficulty throughout the year, but greater things are expected next year. 66 The 1967 basketball season was a building year. With only two seniors on the team, the underclassmen had to carry the major load. Next year, the experience gained this year should bring great gain and a winning season is expected. Though the season's record of 3-21 was not an enviable one, there were some memorable games, including especially the win over our arch-rivals. Bluffs.
