The effort that you have put forth to earn a high school education will have a life-long effect upon you and the people with whom you will be associated. Now that you have reached this very im- portant goal, I hope you have surveyed the future and with the help of your family, your teachers and other closely associated persons, you now have set new goals for your lives. It may be some form of higher formal educa- tion, technical training; or it may be a train- ing program of on-the-job training, or a military career; but whatever, set your goals high. You are about to enter the adult world when never before has so much been expected of each individual.
