ANNA MAE HYATT Superintendent Secretary Principal World History Assistant Basketball Coach PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE By the time this appears in print you will be nearing the completion of another academic year and the seniors will be nearing graduation from our high school. This is the goal for which you have been striving the past twelve years. For some this will mark the completion of your formal education. Others will pursue the muse of learning for a number of years. As you will recall some of your former classmates did not complete high school. Aca- demic success, as we measure it, varies greatly with the individual. However all may become good community citizens, doing your share to make the democratic process work, regardless of academic success. In order to do your part to make democracy work and keep our country free from Communism you must participate in local, state, and national elections. You must formulate opinions and express them. You must develop deep and lasting convictions and be willing to defend carefully before you choose. Refrain from bigotry and prejudice. The world is before you. There are many opportunities still left. The world does not owe you anything. To it you owe everything. Go out and conquer. We will follow your careers with interest.
