MR. CHEL YOUNG MRS. ANNA MAE HYATT Superintendent Principal World History Assistant Basketball Coach PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE Secretary Congratulations to the Class of 196 0 for completion of the secondary phase of your formal education. The road has not been an easy one but that is as it should be. The worthw.hile things in life must be earned. The more difficult it is to earn the greater you will cherish the reward. For some of you graduation will mark the completion of your formal education. Others will continue with college, trade school, or military service. Each one should select a goal for his life and strive to achieve that goal. As you live each day try to become more tolerant of others and keep an open mind. Prejudice and bigotry should be avoided. Be willing to try new ideas. Mental growth can be a continuous thing. If you do not continue to grow you will stagnate. You can either progress or regress. Only you can make that choice. Speaking for the faculty I can truthfully say we have enjoyed having you in school. We will all follow your future careerswith much interest. Return to visit us. On behalf of the Board of Education and of the faculty let me again congratulate you on a job well done. Chel Young Wessler Electric Shop Arenzville, Illinois Bessell's Flower Shop Mt.
