MR. CHEL YOUNG Superintendent Principal PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE This year's class is the first to graduate from our expanded educational program which now includes such areas as general shop and driver training as well as other subjects that have become traditional with us through the years. You have seen the school program grow during each of your four high school years and you can indeed be proud to graduate from Meredosia- Chambersburg High School. School organizations are continually work- ing for a better school. Co-recreational and Daddy Date nights are recent inno- vations in our school activities. The under- classmen have indeed been furnished a chal- lenge by the Class of 1957. In your four years of high school you have had many opportunities to develop your la- tent interests and abilities. We have tried to make you aware of life's problems and aid you in meeting them. May the next phase of your journey be as rewarding as the phase just completed. My associations with the Class of 1957 will produce many fond memories. We were freshmen together in the fall of 1953 and I sincerely hope that our contacts have proved mutually advantageous.
