High School meant settling down, working hard, and trying their best to act like, or rather be, ladies and gentlemen. If you had looked this group over well, you would have found thirty-three Freshmen enrolled. During the year of 1952, Chambersburg High School combined with Meredosia High School to form Unit II. Due to the combining of the two schools, we gained two more pupils, Harriett Thompson and Virginia Sims. During our Freshmen year, we lost five students. Marilyn Allen, John Barfield, Virginia Miller, Billy Nunn, and Roland Ransom. At the beginning of our Sophomore year, twenty-eight students registered.
