p u o p ii is : v On this day, February 20, 1956, we do hereby prophesy the future of our class mates from the view of our magic carpet. As we begin our trip, we see Mardell McDaniel, husband, and twelve little beach combers basking in the sun at Miami Beach. After flying around the Gulf of Mexico, we see the Rancho Grande of Marilyn Schneider. Standing in the midst of her yellow rose garden, she greets us with a hearty Hi Ya'll. Upon entering Oklahoma, a swift rush of air greets us as Rex Tracy whizzes by in his jet propelled plane counting his oil wells to pass the time of day. As we go to Arizona, we find Sandra Little training her cobras to do the Cha-Cha ? Her favorite snake, a giant Boa Constrictor, looks curiously at us as we pass by. Upon entering California, we see Judy Hobson on location making her new picture entitled, The Lieutenant wore Garters. Flying leisurely onward, we suddenly enter a thick cloud of smoke. Thinking it to be smog, we descent to a lower level and find that it is only Curtiss Muntman smoking a ten foot cigar. As we fly along the coast of California, we see Marcella Gregory Floyd and the little Louies I, II, III, surf-board riding behind their huge yacht. Passing the yacht, we fly onward to Hawaii and are entertained by Harriett Thompson and her school of hula dancers. Our time is limited, so we hurry onward to Japan only to find the 17

largest circus in the world which specializes in the performance of fleas, under the direction of Jo Ellen Steinberg. As dusk falls, we find ourselves in China where we are greeted by the tantalizing smell of Chop Suey from Fonda Petri's Night Club in the Aristocratic section of Singapore. We cannot leave Europe without stopping in Gay Pari. Here we see Betty Lou Allen Dior, designing faboulous clothes for the Cor- onation of the Queen of France. Flying on to Italy, we see a beautiful house on the Mediterranean. To our surprise, Vera Kay Fricke lounges on the veranda, and she waves to us as we pass over. Onward we soar on the fulttering folds of our magic carpet toward the vast jungles of Africa. Whom do we see? Tarzan? No! It is none other than Du Wayne Rausch and his trusty guide. Tucker Ruyle. We find them enjoying a hearty meal of bananas and coconut juice. Thinking it isn't safe to hang around, we meander over to Arabia; and, as we look groundward, whom do we see but Warren Dickman being entertained by his beautiful harem. Once more upon our merry way, we travel for a short period and soon arrive in Australia. We see a hopping herd of kangaroos being rapidly pursued by Norma Workman, The Kangaroo Heiress , driving the herd to a nearby water hole. While still in the hopping mood, we jump right over to South America and stop to see the annual Fiesta and the ensuing Bull Fights. Charles Allen takes top honors as the Brancho of Bull Patch ? Embarking once more upon our journey, we glide leisurely around Cape Horn and direct our magic carpet toward Alaska, the Land of the Northern Lights. Here we find Darold VanHyning and Ed Scheer employed at the largest artificial icycle plant in the world. Shouting mush , we quickly depart from this land of snow and ice into Canada which 18
