Pluto was our next destination. This time we set the automatic controls of the planetoid and went to our bedroom and rested till we reached the planet. When we landed »t the space port, we found Delbert Fuelling acting as manager. Although he is now the millionaire owner of a chain space ports, he still likes to mingle with the help. We left Pluto and headed for Mercury. We were thirsty so we stopped at a place called ‘‘Thirst No More . When the waiter came, we discovered that he was Merlyn Smith with his hair dyed red. When he brought our order, he brought the owner, George Easley. We found that Merlyn had been married three times in the last year, but each wife had left him because he insisted on leaving his hair red. On Mercury it was legal to have more than one wife, so George has eight wives. George also owns a mansion for his wives. His first wife is a girl from earth, Peggy. The other seven are Mercurians. Our next stop was Neptune. W e were stricken with acute indigestion because of our friends different cooking. When we woke up, we were in Beulah’s Neptune Hospital. It was a beautiful hospital and had all of the luxuries such as television and swimming pools. Everything was push- button control. Beulah who is now Mrs. Paul Molgard is the head nurse and also the head surgical nurse. Beulah owns a space ship and travels all over the planets to supervise her hospitals. We recovered from the attack soon and decided to take a rest. We saw a sign advertising the L.J.S. Double Bar flench so we decided to give it a try A servant ushered us into a spacious ranch house and we found our lifelong pal, Linda Steinberg. Her house was circular and completely en- closed in glass. She doesn’t throw stones. We finished our rest and went on to Uranus. As we landed, we saw a stock car race in action. We stayed till the race was over and the winner was announced, we were pleasantly surprised to find Bob Sis the winner. For winning the race, Bob received a 10 foot memorial which was placed in the center of the race track. After the excitement of the race we decided to relax in a movie. The leading man was Wayne Peck, formerly Wayne Deppe of Meredosia. He was starring in “Three Girls and A Man”. Wayne was the box offices leading man with a salary to match- Last week, he had five new Cadillacs shipped from earth and he doesn’t even like cars. We have returned to earth and although our friends all seem to like the outer space, we find ourselves still attached to this little hunk of land and water called home- By Beulah Stambaugh and Linda Steinberg
