To be a woman . . . To be a woman is to be me— you have to accept yourself before you can be a full person. My professors have done a great deal in helping me realize that women also have the opportunity and responsibility to achieve and contribute to our society. JoAnn Willi ford. Junior The environment at Meredith helps you to feel you ' re a part of the world. Being around other women your age helps you to un- derstand them better as well as yourself. Kim Dale, Freshman Bv word and example, a woman can be both a family person and a professional person. To be a Woman . . . I feel a woman must find what she believes in and stand by it and take an active part in doing those things she enjoys and be- lieves in. Micliele Lee, Junior Being a woman, I would say, in- volves the opportunity of pur- suing the quest for developing one ' s fullest potential as a woman, free from parental, insti- tutional, and male restraints on that development, and free to pursue academic, personal, and social goals.
