History of the Senior Class We came as freshman, excited and thrilled over the possibilities of col- lege. We spent four years exploring the countless avenues of good times, friendships, and learning. We realize now how wonderful all these experi- ences have been. We rememl)er how we felt as freshman. Wasn ' t it great to be rushed and to feel you really belonged to Meredith when you choose your society? We came to appi eciate Meredith tradition as we dressed up for Corn Husk- ing, hurried around in secret before Stunt, and won points for our dorm on Play Day. We grew as we passed through our recjuired courses and got into our major field. We- came to understand people as we learned how to live in a community, and to be a part of it. We shared our lives with so many wonderful friends. We are sad to leave the happiness we have shared here. We are glad to build the future on these rich experiences. We salute Thee, Alma Mater, with hearts full of thanks for the opportunity of our college years.
