History of the Senior Class We came ... we saw ... we conquered (?). We can hardly believe that it was just four years ago that we entered the portals of Meredith. Now as we walk down the aisle ... we remember so many big oc- casions and ... so many little ones. Remember the first day of meeting all the other green freshmen. . . . Once we stood in awe of the august seniors . . . now we are the seniors . . . honestly, we don ' t feel a bit different. Can we ever forget the happy days here? We went through our trials and tribulations. Now we only seem to recall the gay times . . . Palio . . . the Corn Huskin ' Bee . . . Stunt Night . . . Society Decision Day . . . Chorus concerts ... so many things. How about the extra curricular activities ? The contest to see who could get the deepest tan e ery spring . . . the ' ' galj sessions . . . parading walk on a spring afternoon . . . Roy ' s . . . bridge marathons . . . now we have gotten clown the aisle . . . let ' s hear the speaker . . . as interesting as he is . . . can we keep from thinking . . . some of us will never see each other again . . . but, again we may bump into some classmate on the street in some unknown town. Some of us will teach or work together during the next year — who can tell? The graduation speech is o cr . . . once we said we would throw our caps up in the air, but now ... a mixture of sadness and gladness enters our hearts. ... As we lea e, we spot our parents, they give us a wink . . . we have succeeded . . . what the future holds . . . we know not. ...
