Senior Claii OFFICERS JETTA FUNDERBURK President RUTH MARTIN Vice President EVELYN STRAUGHAN ..Secretary MADGE FUTCH .Treasurer Jetta Funderburk President IT HARDLY seems possible that 1947 is here when it seemed so far away to the fresh- men who entered four years ago. But in these brief years we ' ve tucked away a lot of happy memories: of the freshman year, first place in Palio for our feature, using the idea of the three publications, the pajama party at the chimney and the Big Sister-Little Sister breakfast; of the sophomore year, one of those war years, the square dance with some of those V-12 ' s from Carolina, and that early morning daisy picking; of the junior year the angelic Junior-Senior Banquet and that never-to-be-forgotten hunt for the crook; of our last year, top honors in the basketball tournament and in Palio, thanks to atomic power. Just around the corner there ' s graduation and after that — we ' ll start over and be babv alumnae!
