Senior Class Poem Bright the day has dawned and holy. That sets thy love, a final seal. On our foreheads. Alma Mater, As we in thy presence kneel. Well thou St taught us, gracious mother. Our lives are not our own to keep In seclusion and in safety While our weaker sisters weep. Then, today, we rise and gird us. Lift our torches up to thine Until they glow in ardent contact — May they forever shine! Ami as we with feet reluctant From thy temple, on this day, Down the path that lies before us. Hesitating, take our ivay. We pray, these torches freely lent us. Sometimes glimpsed through rainfall rife. May prove, in truth, to those about us, ' Rainbows to the storms of life.
