We hoped and prayed that we'd be strong And wise decisions makeg The road we'd walk was hard and long But the Only one to take. Help we needed and help we found From those who were concernedp And to us they gave wisdom, strong and sound And great lessons which we learned. We worked and fought and laughed and cried, And life was just a game. We lived each day with new-found pride And no two were the same. And as we lightened our heavy load With tear-filled eyes we say - Never again shall we see this roadp We'lI never pass this WAY. ff? f is ,mln z , Q- ' 493-Al . 4 A F 'ff ' x f ,ff-55 J, gp ' fb 1, 1251 ,l' I . 4 -M .ff arf' ., ' ay 'a ' 0 J- Q '-in - U 3, ..,.' ff Ld 2,-lf! v'7' Each of us was made by God and some of us grew tall. Others stood out in the wind Their branches bent and fell. Those of us who walk in light must help the ones in darkness up. For that's what life is all about And love is all there is to lite. Each of us was made by God Beautiful in His mind's eye. Those of us that turned out sound should look across our shoulders once and help the weak ones to their feet. lt only takes one outstretched hand. Penny Porter Varied people Moving in all directions And as one Seeking an education Enjoying fun Searching Knowing only Confusion So many shades Of smiles Of speech Of joy Of sadness Caused by so many things These qualities compose people .Wffay Old years and new years, all blended into one, The best of what there is to be, the best of what is goneti Let's bury all the failures in the dim and dusty past And keep the smiles of friendship and laughter to the last. Old years and new years, life's inthe making still, We haven't come to glory yet, but there's the hope we will, The dead old year was twelve months long, but now we're free And what's one year of good or bad to all the years to be? Old years and new years, we need them one and all To reach the dome of character and build its sheltering wall. Past failure tried the souls of us, but if their tests we stood, The sum of what we are to be may yet be counted good. Robin Craven Carol Barnhardt Cheryl Mclntosh Lou Garrisson its 1. 1 3 F xx- -- .
