Perhaps without realizing it we as students, nurses, and members of the medical staff share an impossible dream. We dare to dream that which others have deemed hopeless may be saved. V Every day of our lives we seek means of beating our unbeatable foe known as death. Our hearts are heavy with the sorrow we see, yet we keep going forward with our hope flying high. Many stones will be thrown our way, and many times we will feel the pain of others, and we will return this pain with love, compassion, and understanding. Our hours will be long, the rewards very small, and most of our goals are never reached. But, this is the quest we must follow. If we do not forget the goals, if we can always remember that -the need of our fellow man counts more, and if we keep within our hearts the light of hope then perhaps in some small way we will succeed in making a better place for those to come. - . . . and perhaps too, we will not be forgotten.
