faculty Last summer, faculty members reached a consid- erable distance into outer space in pursuit of added training and knowledge. On the western scene three faculty members continued work in music, library, science, and philosophy at Los Angeles campuses, two others furthered studies for graduate degrees in Latin at Dominican, and several attended the University of San Francisco summer session. A lay teacher toured the British Isles, and in late August two Sisters attended the National Liturgical XVeek meetings sponsored by the Benedictines at St. john's Abbey, Minnesota.
