.EFZQS men Quickly adjusting to the routine of high school life, the Freshman Class made its presence at Mercy strongly felt. A dance, sponsored by The Mothers, Club, was one of the first activities presented for the new students. This get-together afford- ed the freshmen a chance to make new acquaintances. The school spirit of this promising class was displayed by its win- ning second place in the Boys, Intramural Basketball Tournament and its taking first and second place in the Animal Spring Festival Drive. The freshman contributions to Varsity, as well as to BU-teams, enabled the Bulldogs to tally up blue and white victories.
