Freshies still in the final stage of childhood play games in the gym. Bottom-The Hsweetestl' haunt in the school . . . the candy room where the weekly allowance meets its downfall, The ever-obliging Mary Allen plays the piano while Seniors display tlieir prime achievement . . . dancing. 29

Shorthand, typing, and bookkeeping are offered in the commercial department. Major credit is given for one year of each to those who pass the efficiency tests except for college entrance which requires two years each of shorthand and typing.
