At the same time in Columbus, Ohio, another curvaceous brown- haired beauty, Miss Doris Statler, was crowned Miss Ohio. Both girls, who attended Mercersburg High School as class- mates, will represent these re- spective states at the Miss Am- erica pageant in September at Atlantic City.
