1 ' When a young, fresh minded, female Freshman en lets college, she often holds many dreams very dear. This freshman wants fo be paired with the perfect roommate, plus she wants fo create the coolest dorm room. Well, this year 47 young women were shocked when they arrived on campus and found out where they actually lived Due to overcrowding this year, many women had to temporarily live in places other than a dorm room lived in the Infirmary. 16 were placed in rooms with Residence Hall Assistants (who generally live in pri vate rooms), 12 inhabited lounges, and 4 were placed in study rooms. These converted living conditions pro dueed creative decorating and lots of fun It may have seemed like an inconvenience at fust, but the young women adjusted very well WELtOHE TO MrtS-H This unusual situation was due to an increase in student population Flans are being made now to rente dy the problem, Hopefully, we will soon have a place to put all of (he new students. So, the next time you meet an incoming, female freshman: be kind Remember those dreams you held close during that time of your life — during the time when college was something new under the sun.
