RAT COURT Penalty Number I Beloit: Penalty Number 111 Penalty Number II F R E $ H M E N CLASS OFFICERS , !1W ARRIVALS—Our year began with silent ru h week fur the girls and open-rushing for the boys. Then came freshmen ratting—never was a class so ratted! We hobbled to class with our legs tied in strings and earned our books in suit-cases. Somehow we lived through Rat-Court, the Flag Race, and .ill the other tortures devised by the sopho- mores. Rut when it was all over, we felt we were a real part of Mercer. We’re looking forward gleefully to next year when we will be on the other end of the initiation program!
