FRITZ REDLICH—Fh D It is said that coeds avoid his economics classes because he doesn’t like girls and hates to see them come in his class. He never speaks to any of his students on the campus and has an uncontrollable temper in class DOROTHEA WILLIAMS—She js secretary to Dean Clark. Maybe that is enough said about her. WELCOME TALMADGE SMALLEY— A.B.. M A With his pipe smoking like a chimney' this familiar figure is seen Scurrying around the chapel building each morning exactly two minutos after class has begun. Once inside the classroom his lectures usually hover around darkness, flask on hip, a shiny automobile, and a beautiful girl ' MRS. AGNES W. WATSON—She is a Very modest woman and dislikes publicity She says tbai she would rather have her picture left out of the Cauldron than have anything said about her. HERMAN F. K.UKT , A B, Pli D, Born in India of parents who were Baptist mis- sionaries. he come to the United States whim he was seven years old. His favorite sport is tennis and his hobby is gardening. WILBUR WHITE STOUT A.R.. M.A., Ph.D He I:- very fond of acting and nctor.-; (especially Sonja Honie), being director of the Mercer Players MRS A. P MONTAGUE— Mother Montague' is the comforter of all homesick freshmen and a friend and advisor to upper-classmen but she hates to Ik- rolled campus mother, ALBERTA WOLFE—A.B. As she was a Wesleyan student at one time. Miss Wolfe gives instructions to Mercer boys as to how they can get their dates off the campus.
