It has recently hern admitted to the American Association nl Law Schools. This admission of the School of Law into this association places it on equal standing with tlir greatest in the country. This recognition oi the law school has been due to the untiring efforts nf Dean Fish, Dr. Harris, secretary nr the school, and Dr. Moorr, librarian of the school. Ath 1. tries This has been Mercer's greatest tear in athletics. She has developed ami placed on the held a football team that has done greater things than any other in the history of the school. Hut the greatest achievement in the line of athletics has been attained by the basketball team. For the two years before this Mercer has had a great basket hall team, but it has always lacked thr final punch necessary to win a Southern cham- pionship. This year that final punch was developed. Playing siv nights out of seven, the team defeated Cieorgia two games, rested Sunday night arid .Monday night began the S. L A. A. Tournament, They defeated Mil Laps, Dwisiamt College, Missis sippi College, and Centre College, and thereby won rlie S. I. A, A, championship. We are proud of the individual players ami of Coach Gillam, for it is these men to whom all the credit is due. Gift Cl-i B In spraking nf achievements, nc must say a few words of the f Sire Club. It is the greatest ever seen. 'Fins tact is admitted bv spectators in all parts nl the state. The director and the officers and members of the club have worked hard this year and have gotten up a program that will satisfy the most particular. I he club has been given the highest praise everywhere it has been. It has been a great brlp to the university, tor ii has shown the people lit thr state what Mercer men can and are doing.
