Pausmg for a picture are this year s Isla staff front row Mrs Carol dy McMillan, Carol Bialkowsky, Bob McTavish, Debbie Lazenby, Tori Mt Fadden adviser Bonnie Brand Laurie Hlrshberg Liz Macklin Ann Olson, Lane Bockman, Polly Sears. and Charles Beard. Isla, HI Tlmes staffs serve school throu h Isla Throughout the year room 301 was Mout of bounds during sixth period for all students but the Isla staff. The staff started the year selling more advertisements to local merchants than in the past. This allowed them to add four extra pages to the Isla as well as three colored pages and an embossed cover. The class was run on an informal basis. All of the fifteen staff members except Charles Beard, editor, had never served on the staff before, so all the jobs and procedures that it takes to produce a yearbook were completely new to them. This year's Isla, MWorld on an Island, will also have a sixteen page supplement to add to it. The supplement will include articles about spring sports, and the annual spring Tolo, the prom, graduation and the senior party. These subjects would not have been able to be put in the Isla because the annual had gone to press before these events and activities took place. Members of Isla staff work together to produce the school yearbook.
