Graduating Class of 1988 Graduation for the class of 1988 was held on June 3rd in the Mercer Area High School auditorium. It was a day most graduating seniors will never forget. The speaker was Dr. Oscar E. Remick, president of Westminster College. Mr. Wayne McCullough, president of the School Board made the remarks. When asked about their last year in high school, most expressed opinions similar to these: Scott Andrews said, “It was a good year. I’m happy to get on with my future.” Holly Hovis said. “It was fun while it lasted.” Let's thank God we graduated Up. Down. Up. Down . . . 23 Who invented these caps anyway?
