Journalism The Journalism Class writes stories for Hoofbeats, the school newspaper. Students also assemble the yearbook, Hi-Times. From the first issue of the Hoofbeats to the last picture that is placed in the yearbook, the journalism group is busy throughout the year. Under the direction of Mrs. Shepherd and Mr. Sankey, they learn how to write a meaningful story and design an excellent layout. Also, the group enjoys a field trip to Pittsburgh, their own in journalism sweatshirts, and the pleasure of watching MHS students and faculty reacting to their journalistic efforts.
