Highlighting halftime was a radiant scene, Complete with symbolic football, As team captain Lennie crowned Londa our Queen, Most radiant Queen of them all. Though we tasted defeat, we put up a good fight, Proving Mustangs aren’t easy to tame. The following evening in formal attire. The Queen and her court reigned supreme. To the tunes of “The Yellow Canary” we danced Till the end of what seemed like a beautiful dream. Touring the field to the strains of the band. The court gave the crowd quite a thrill. Attendants Debbie and Bonnie were nobley escorted By co-captains Danny and Bill. Lancers and Mustangs were tied thirteen up With seven seconds still left in the game.

Student Government Day Bottom Row: Kathy Bell, Karen Drenning, Sandy McGhee. Row 2: Jo Vogan, Sandy Kloos, Vicki Pears. Row 3: Linda Dillinger, Paula Frankenburg, Betsy Hover. Student Government Day was held on April 14. It was limited to senior members of the F.T.A. The girls observed the class a week before to prepare for teaching. Girls teaching in the East Elementary were: Kathy Bell-Mrs. Snyder, Sandy McGhee-Mrs. West, and Vicki Pears-Mrs. Frank. Girls teaching in West Elementary were: Linda Dillinger-Mrs. McDowell and Karen Drenning-Mrs. Elder. Those teaching in the high school were: Paula Frankenburg-Mr. Urban, Sandy Kloos-Mr. Wiekal, Jo Vogan-Mr. Cook, and Betsy Hover-Mrs. Crawford. The girls teaching thought it was a good experience and hope it can be continued next year.
