Hoffman GLASS HISTORY Members of the class of '55 entered high school lat last? in September 1951. Our sophomore and junior years were very successful with many activities. The Iunior Class Play January Thaw , with a capable cast, was a great suc- cess. The Prom, with music by Charlie Iames, was held April 307 following this Prom was an All-night Prom , sponsored by our parents. As Iuniors, we were also very proud to display our class rings. . The goal of becoming Seniors was attained by the wonderful guidance of Mr. Hoffman and Mr. Christie. After election of officers, the seniors began making plans to raise money for our Washington trip. The projects were sell- ing refreshments at football and basketball games, and dances held after the games. Social functions were a Class Party and the Iunior-Senior Prom at which seniors were guests. Our Town , a three act drama, under the direcl tion of Miss Ioy Smith, was a huge success. The trip to Washington took place during the week of April 25th. Baccalaureate was held on May 31, and Com- mencement on Iune 1, 1955.
